While in New York in November, 2000, I had lunch with the fabulous and supportive Maggie Griffin of the fabulous and supportive mystery bookstore, Partners and Crime, down in the Village.
After lunch we were walking back to the store when -- in the middle of a crosswalk -- we ran into S. J. Rozan (the author with the ball-handling skills ... uh, that's a basketball reference, by the way).
